Commuter Comforts is Hiring a Bartender Near Bainbridge Island, WA

Commuter Comforts is looking for an experienced Bartender to be an integral part of our opening team at our newest location inside the Bainbridge Ferry Terminal building! . So, if you're looking for a long-term, stable (and fun!) place to work we're the right fit for you!

Bartender responsibilities include educating customers on our food & drink menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items, taking orders and preparing drinks. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent customer service skills and a love of people! Note: this position’s compensation includes hourly and tips. Monthly health insurance is 50% employer covered for over 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers
  • Prepare high quality beverages
  • Prepare ingredients and garnishes for bar
  • Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
  • Keep work area clean
  • Maintain stock
  • Comply with health and safety regulations
  • Communicate customer feedback to managers

Skills/Qualifications

  • Previous work experience as a Bartender is a must!
  • Must enjoy a fast paced work environment
  • Must be willing to learn to barista
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Great customer service experience
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Toast POS skills a plus
  • Ability to be on feet for 6 - 8 hour shifts
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Must have reliable transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
